I snapped these female Eastern Bluebirds one winter, a couple years back. Was a planned shoot. Bluebirds had been in the yard for a while longer this winter. Set up my DSLR on a tripod, filled this dish with their favorite snack - mealworms, returned to the camera in time to rapid fire a sequence of photos; this was one. One of my favorites.
