In the process of creating a new video campaign for George Sherman HVAC, we’ve written many ads. Some ads hit the cutting room floor, others we will create into 30 sec TV ads, others Longform Web Videos, and then there were some… that were too good to let go, so we decided to create a few radio ads. Now, 45 secs is not your normal radio ad… but some special concessions were made and this ad will be featured on the radio here across Delmarva.
In writing this, I came across some bullet points that Andy Cannon had originally written on making sure your HVAC system is tuned regularly to keep in proper working condition. Fresh from my daily Onion Radio News audio fix, I began thinking of a spoof news story that would fit this concept. If you’ve never listened to The Onion, you’re in for a treat. Doyle Redland… eat your heart out.
Enjoy. And yes, that’s yours truly on the VO.
